Dunman Food Centre @ JooChiat, SG by ViN

As we were quite free and no idea wat to eat on a specific weekend some weeks ago, there we set off to look for new foods. This time we targetted Joo Chiat Area.
Scroll around the area, hmmm.. wat to eat lei.. saw a lot of seafood restaurant and even pass by tian tian chicken rice shop.. really no idea wat should we choose..
finally we settle down at Dunman Food Centre which we dun have any idea wat is nice in thr.
the first stall that attacted our attention was the DragonCity. From the photos shown, it seems not bad and their price is quite ok. What do they sell? Main dishes are FROGS! haha.. normally when talk about 田鸡 in singapore, the most famous shop will be.. whr? i think mostly ppl will say at Geylang or Chinatown ba.. Each of their price is $8/pc(not sure if there is any price adjustment recently). As for DragonCity, they are selling $7/pc. Quite normal for such a price in foodcourt. Price wise is normal wat about the taste?
when it was served, the dish was still boiling hot and the nice aroma filled up my nostril. haha.. tasted a bit of the gravy, mmmm.. i think it wont lose to any of the famous shops lo.. we ordered the dried chilli type and taste is slightly salty but when it goes with the white porridge, that perfect.
the porridge itself already tasted nice(little flavoured.. a pot cost $3) which for me, im able to directly eat it without any side dish. hahaha.. for my opinion, their porridge tasted much better than the one sold at chinatown. as the kongpow frog is a bit salty and the porridge is quite bland, when mix together.. yum yum.. so total damage for this set for a person will be $10. if for two person, 1pc of frog i think should not be enough, so at least need to order 2pcs and a pot of porridge will be just nice.
Saw that DragonCity was operated by four young guys whose age looks around end of twenties or starting thirties. I quite admire them as they have the passion in doing it. it also inspire me sumthing.. hehehe.. hope it is succesful.(keep it a secret first)
we also ordered some side dishes from other stalls. fried sweet potato leaves($5) and a salted fish steam pork ribs($7).
hmmm.. the pork ribs tasted still not bad.. meat is quite soft and it is not too salty.
BUT do not order their sweet potato leaves.. they use preserved tofu to fry so and it doesnt seems to match. not recommended. maybe belacan sweet potato leaves will taste better..
