I never heard of this cafe before and we changed to this location when we dont favour our first targeted place. Yew's Cafe is located at the ground floor of Menara MAA building or just beside New York Hotel which is famous for its "massage centre". haha..
As i never heard of it and 茹 never gav any compliment about their food, i actually dont have any high hopes. When reached da place, eee.. the cafe is quite big but only 2-3 tables were being occupied by customers. oh no.. a bad sign.. browse through their menu, the food looks tempting but pictures always tell lies.. ahhaa..
I ordered their special cheesy mushroom sauce chicken chop(RM21.90) while 茹 picked the black pepper chicken chop(RM23.90). The cheesy mushroom have a weird taste that im unable to describe. seems the mushroom have some flower fragrance..hahaha.. but i cannot say that it tasted bad. im still able to finish it.
for their black pepper, its actually quite nice as the sauce is not sweet de lo.. some of the black pepper sauce i just dun understand how come they make it sweet..
2 weeks ago, we visited them again for the curry chicken as previously we are very tempted when we saw our fren having it. it is really very delicious.. quite hard to find these type of curry nowadays.
the rice can be changed to nice lemak by a price of RM1. hmmm.. rice taste normal la. if u have extra money to spend for the month, pls give them a visit. it cost $12.90+15% tax.
