The street was still quiet but saw that people already sit around having breakfast on the roadside.
Feeling wanna 入乡随俗 but just unable to convince myself eating those street food as it seems really dirty lol.
Walk around for a while then back to hotel for breakfast. I have stayed in quite some hotels b4 but this is da first time i saw breakfast serving fried chicken wings. haha.. and its my favourite.. kaka.. other dished were normal breakfast menu.
After breakfast waited for the tour guide to fetch us for our first tour at HCMC. Mekong River is da destination. Punctual on 8.20am, da guide came. Fetch quite a numbers of others travellers from other hotel and thr we see off. The route to Mekong Delta, tooks us about 2hrs. When we reached da river, da time already about 10.30am. The river market already ceased and we were not able to experience wat is the so called busy river market. too bad.. normally if wan to join in da fun, need to join the 2 days 1 nite tour. anyway, still able to c some of da boat hanging around there and we were told that those ppl stays in the boat. if for me, i sure everyday seasick.. haha.. all of da boats have eyes drawn at the bow. It is a belief that after having da eyes on da bow, the river deity will protect them.
We reached our first destination which is the place where they make their local snacks. Actually most of them is da same as wat we have in Malaysia.. we came so far to see the same thing? hahaha..
After this, we had our lunch at a so called local villager's house. The first dish is a deep fried fish which attract our attention from far for its deco.. again there is this spring roll but this time its rice paper is not as hard as wat we had at Pho24. Papermint again!!! I hate it so much! other food is really quite normal.. not much to explain...
