古早人 @ Skudai

seems its been years ago since i touched plain porridge.. since young i nvr ever like plain porridge.. even till now at home, when my mum says she plans to cook porridge, i will be the first one to object. hahaha.. mayb getting older, taste bud change edi..

together with 茹, she led me to this shop at skudai. very near to sutera mall. although im not fancy of plain porridge, this time i didnt reject as i believe her taste bud lo.. those things that she recommend, sure thr will be some standard.. haha..
there is a list for us to order and the dishes that we ordered were
菜脯煎蛋

stew pork

and cabbage

u can have a choice of plain porridge or porridge with tapioca. hmmm.. da different between them is only, the one with tapioca, will have a sweet tapioca taste lo.. hhahaha..

hmm.. do u believe that i do not like porridge but yet i ate two bowls? hahaa.. not sure if its really so nice or my mood is damn good. hahaha.. all da dishes ordered tasted ok.. i like da stew meat but it is a little oily and salty.. but if have it together with the porridge, it will be just nice and its meat is quite tender. the 菜脯蛋, i can see that should be deep fried if not the results wont be so nice. da taste really not bad oo.. cabbage is quite normal but the dried shrimp that they put is quite a lot which makes the whole dish very fagrant.

After finishing everything, i felt im damn full but its not end yet.. they still served a bowl of 红豆+黑糯米汤. its on da house. hmmm.. its not too sweet which is my liking but im too full to finish it up.

hmmm.. will i be back? yes of course.. the only down thing is that.. it is not cheap.. i dont really remember the price but should be around RM35. one more thing, the barley drink here is nice. it is originally cook and not using aritificial concentrated flavours.
