i counted quite seldom eating western food but since it was intro to me that this is da best chicken chop in town, then there i go. i visited this shop three times for a short short period of 2 months.
first time i did not eat as im too full after having my brunch, just ordered a ice cuppucino.
Looking at those people at the next table eating, really makes my saliva dripping. The second visit was the time i tasted it. We ordered the Fried Chicken Chop with mushroom sauce.
Its really up to standard and the portion is quite big. The outer layer was crispy while internally its still soft and juicy. Mmm.. together with the mushroom sauce, its just getting better but if only they gave the sauce a little bit more.
Besides that, we also ordered their mee mamak. It looks spicy when it is served but da spicyness is still acceptable. I can say this dish can fight with any mee goreng from those mamak outside. Not bad not bad..
My fren also ordered a grill chicken chop with black pepper sauce.. did not taste it but from da look, it should be nice.. haha.. my last visit should be 2 weeks ago.. im there just for their root beer float while chatting with frens.
we did order a plate of fried chicken chop but this time with black pepper sauce. hmmm.. compared to the mushroom sauce, da black pepper is really much nicer. Not sure if they are really da best chicken chop in town but overall, i think their food is good and can be recommended to all.
By the way, the shop is located at jalan dhoby. it is a corner shop so quite hard to miss it. if walk from city square it maybe take u about 15-20mins.
